THE PROCESS
How It Works
A quality custom garment is the product of quality, care, experience and design. The A. Bernard Collection process includes a detailed consultation, 16 measurements, fabric and detailed selections, and first class delivery.
Measurement
Your clothier will take 16 measurements to ensure the proper fit, drape, feel, and silhouette. This process may include measurements beyond your custom suits, and extend to sport jackets, tuxedos, shirts, and accessories.
Creation
Based on your measurements, our tailors create a hand-cut paper pattern unique to you. Any adjustments will update your personal profile so future orders are simple and seamless.
Consultation
The heart of A. Bernard Collection is to assure you are detailed, precise and aware. During your consultation, our aim is to make your vision a reality. Ask questions and receive answers. Explain your desire and it will be met.
Styling
The beauty of custom lies in the details; select from the finest fabrics from our international partners. Then your clothier will help you choose the design of your lapels, lining, contrast stitching, buttonholes, waistband style, pant hem, pocket style, and more.
Delivery
Your clothier will personally deliver your finished garments, ensuring every detail is exactly as you designed. We provide first class delivery and you will be sincerely satisfied with your garment.
